Information for food donors

If you would like to make a food offering, please call the Monastery and ask for available dates and dietary requirements.
These are the times that Sanghas have their meals.

• Breakfast 6:30 am
• Lunch 11:00 am
  

Please make appropriate arrangements so that the Sanghas can eat at the specified time. 
If you would like to cook and prepare the meals at the Monastery, we kindly ask you to make a donation for electricity/ gas used.

Things we currently need

• Drinking water bottles
• Kitchen towel
• Cleaning stuff
• Petrol Garden Tractor (or) Ride-On Mower (or) Ride on Lawn Tractor
• Contribution to hire a Gardener
• Contribution to hire a Cleaner
• Vacuum Cleaner for Shrine and Monks room
• We also welcome donations for utility bills

We are obligated to invite Dhamma Kathika Sayadaw and assistant monk from Mahasi Sasana Yeikthar, Myanmar. The total cost for the invitation process is approximately £4000 per Sangha. We would greatly appreciate any donation towards these expenses.

Donations could be made via cash, cheques, bank transfers and standing orders.

Cheque donations – please make cheques payable to BBBT or Britain-Burma Buddhist Trust and send by post to the Vihara address.
If you are a taxpayer and donate to Britain-Burma Buddhist Trust, we can claim 25% on top of your donation from the taxman.
